BlueBeacon Lighting - Conditions of Sale – November 2005
We have tried to make these conditions of sale as simple as possible and have written them in what we hope is plain English.
Damaged or missing items
Please inspect your purchase as soon as you receive it, and check to see if the items that we have sent are in perfect working condition and that we have sent the correct items in the right quantities. If this is not the case, please notify us within 2 working days of receipt of your item.
Delivery times and dimensions
All offers are subject to stock availability and we try to give you the best information about delivery times, but we are not perfect. All measurements stated are approximate. If you plan to drill holes in something like very expensive granite then please wait until you have the actual product in your hand. We will not be responsible for any costs incurred as a result of using our products.
Please allow 28 days for delivery, although in many cases we will try to despatch sooner. We do not like waiting either.
Faulty products and returns
If you believe the item you have received has a manufacturing fault or defect, please contact us as soon as you can but ideally within 3 days. We will then tell you how to get the items back to us for repair or replacement.
It is your responsibility to make sure that the items are returned to us safely and without any further damage so please ensure it is packed safely and securely. We recommend using a recorded delivery service. On receipt we will inspect it carefully to establish the nature of the fault or defect.
Please understand that we cannot be held responsible for any damages caused due to any improper use. If the item has been damaged through improper use, then we cannot accept the item for credit or replacement.
If the item is found to have a manufacturing fault or defect we will either attempt to repair the fault or provide a replacement and, we will also refund you the cost of returning the item back to us.
Installation

Delivery charges
Postage and packaging. There is a £6.00 postage and packing charge against each order for mainland UK. Please ask for a quotation if you want your order to be delivered anywhere outside mainland UK, including Eire. All prices include VAT at 17.5%
Product Guarantee
We guarantee all of our products, except lamps, for one year from date of purchase.
Payment
We accept payment by cheque or postal order. If you would prefer to pay by cheque, please call 0870 241 3992 and speak to one of our operators who will be happy to take your order and provide details of where to send your cheque or postal order. Our lines are open between 9am and 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. All cheques should be made payable to Blue Beacon Lighting Ltd. Please write your name and address, cheque guarantee card number and expiry date on the reverse of your cheque. All cheques and postal orders will only be accepted in £ sterling.
If you pay by Credit Card or Debit Card, please supply your full card details together with credit card number, start date, expiry date (and issue number for debit cards), and the CV2 number, which is the last three digits on the signature strip. Please do not send cash through the post.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998) and according to the Which? Web Trader Code of Practice.
